As a first generation American, I understand how special America is. But, over the last couple of years, things have been changing in our country and within Academy District 20. The attempts to force that change have been obvious and open.
Throughout my many years of teaching and coaching within District 20, I have gained the knowledge and have the background to help guide District 20 in the direction that will benefit our students. I want to do my part to help them develop into young men and women who are able to contribute positively once they graduate high school and move on to the next stage of their life, whatever that may be.
While change is inevitable, the changes that do happen in Colorado Springs D20 need to benefit students and help them grow into young adults who will positively impact the community.
Nathan believes it should be a parent's choice if their student wears a mask, if they receive a vaccine, and if the student stays away from school or school activities after the symptoms are no longer present
Parents must be informed about any type of upcoming sexual or gender education lessons and given the material in advance. Parents must 'opt in' their student, regardless of the age of the student, if they want their student to be present or to participate.
Nathan feels that it is very important that students learn how to properly manage money, invest money, and learn the long term effects of student loan debt, or any debt in general
